“We are one in Time and Rented Space” is an allegory of perception and acceptance. I painted my Lovely Linda’s face combined with my face to represent our oneness in our decision to live a life in the Arts. The abstract time pieces are significant in something one is doing. It is one of the most important dream symbols which represent the psychic center of personality. It is symbolic of wholeness, completeness, and unity of the self. The clock is a mandala that revolves and it may represent immortality. Through time we have accepted that being in the Arts was going to be a challenge of fears and courage. To create an income from the sale of my Art and to have the willingness to accept that the roof over my table is only rented.
